Hope & Dignity Project, Inc. is a newly established Outreach Center dedicated to supporting at-risk families and individuals experiencing homelessness or housing instability. We are currently collecting essential items that provide warmth, comfort, and dignity to those who need it most.
Your contributions—whether through donated goods, financial support, or volunteer time—help us expand our reach and strengthen our mission to uplift the community. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of our most vulnerable neighbors.
Clothing & Warmth
New or gently used coats, wraps, vests, sweaters, thermal undergarments, socks, gloves, hats, scarves, shoes, and boots (all sizes welcome).
Shelter & Bedding
Twin and full-size comforters, sleeping bags, and tents.
Dignity Kits
Toothbrushes, toothpaste, mouthwash, soap, body/bleach wipes, hand sanitizer, lotion, sanitary napkins, razors, Depends, shampoo caps, and shaving cream.
School Supplies
Non-Perishable Food Items
Canned goods, rice, pasta, cereal, peanut butter, beans, jelly and dry goods, and bottled water.
Thanksgiving / Christmas
Menus are subject to change based on the availability of donations.
How You Can Help
● Drop off items at our Mechanicsville, MD location (by appointment).
● Contribute funds to support supply purchases and outreach events.
● Volunteer to help assemble kits or organize donation drives.
